My name is Mariah Kartchner and I am the 2011 Ferry County Fair Queen! I am 16 and attend Republic High School. I participate in volleyball, basketball, and the Curlew Equestrian Team! I have lived in Ferry County for over seven years and have been involved in the  4-H program for six. I love riding my horse Jinx! We travel around and rodeo all summer long! I am so honored to be ablel to travel and represent our fair! I am not just riding my horse at the fair. I am taking my pig Wilma and my sheep Lamar! If you me or any of my animals just stop by and say hey! I hope you have an enjoyable time at the Ferry County Fair!

Howdy there,

My name is Kianna Carpenter and I am your 2011 Ferry County Fair Princess. I will be a sophomore this coming fall at Curlew School and this is currently my 4 th year of 4-H with Lucky Horseshoe. I am thrilled to be given the honor of representing the Ferry County Fair and being able to share my smile with the people of Ferry County as well as others. It pleases me to work with people and with horses and becoming the princess has given me the opportunity to do both. Becoming the princess has also given me the opportunity to speak in front of others, which is a skill I am looking forward to improving.

When I am not busy with my royal responsibilities, I enjoy laying across my horse’s back in the sun, reading a good book, creative writing, and singin’ the blues!

I thank you all for your support and look forward to seeing you at the Ferry County Fair! It’s a blast, you won’t wanna’ miss it!

Thanks again,

Your Princess,Kianna Carpenter
